How do I get authenticated to view e-resources from off-campus?

How do I view items such as full-text articles, eBooks, or streaming videos from off-campus?

When you try to view items such as full-text articles, eBooks, or streaming videos from off-campus, you might be redirected to Iona's Single Sign On page. Log in with your Iona username and password to continue. If you are unable to view the item, please follow the steps listed for Database Access Troubleshooting. If you still cannot view items from off-campus, please contact the Help Desk at (914) 633-2635.

 

How do I view and renew my books?

How do I renew books and view my checked-out books? 

Go to the WorldCat Discovery. Click "Sign In" in the top right of the page.

Enter your Iona network ID (i.e. jsmith1). If you have not yet set a password for a WorldCat account, click "Set/Reset Password." You should receive an email from OCLC WorldCat with instructions for setting a password. This password can be anything you choose. It is not related to your Single Sign-On password. Please contact the Help Desk at (914)-633-2635 if you are not able to set this password using the set/reset password feature.

Once you log in, you can see what items you have checked out by going to "My account" and then selecting "Checkouts." You can then renew items from the "Checkouts" page. You can also view any fees charged against your account, your prior and saved searches, saved items, and lists of items that you saved.
 

What if I forget my password?

Click "Set/Reset Password" to reset it. Please contact the Help Desk at (914)-633-2635 if you are not able to reset this password using the set/reset password feature.
