Title Page

The title should succinctly reflect the content and emphasis of the project described in the report.
Author's name

The author’s name and affiliation should follow the title on a separate line, such as "Mary B. Martin, Department of Chemistry, Iona University, New Rochelle, NY 10801."
Date and origin of the report

Include any relevant context, such as "In partial fulfillment of a Senior Thesis Project under the supervision of Professor Sunghee Lee, June 2024."
Conspectus
-
Provide a 400-500 word summary of the main thesis, the studies examined, and the conclusions. Include one graphic. This section is written last and is meant to encourage readers to engage with the entire article.
Abstract
-
In 200 words or less, concisely describe the topic, scope, principal findings, and conclusions. This should encapsulate the essence of the paper.
Introduction
-
Open by discussing the nature of the problem and its importance. Include background information, previous work on the topic, and the objectives of your project.
Body
-
Break the body into detailed sections that describe important techniques, methods, results, and conclusions. Include references but avoid quotations. Use Arabic numbering for headings and subsections (e.g., 2.2), with section titles in uppercase.
Discussions

Restate the thesis, summarize the findings, and propose further research. Ensure a clear conclusion is drawn.
Graphics

Mention all graphics in the text and cite them appropriately. Label figures, tables, and charts separately using Arabic numbers (e.g., Figure 2. (A), (B), (C)), providing brief descriptions. If using graphics from external sources, include a credit line (e.g., "Taken from" or "Adapted from").
