ACS Style Guide Online

Iona College Libraries subscribes to the ACS All Web Edition Journals package which also gives you access to the online ACS Style Guide. The following url, https://pubs.acs.org/isbn/9780841239999, takes you to the home page of the ACS Style Guide.

RefWorks’ drag and drop capability along with smart document recognition makes it easy and fast to upload documents and metadata into your account. The Save to RefWorks feature allows you to capture research from websites with the click of a button.

  • Enables you to share citations and lists

Preventing Plagiarism

Create a RefWorks Account - Start Here

  1. Go to RefWorks and click on Create Account (located at the bottom of the box).
  2. Use your Iona email address to sign up for a RefWorks account.
  3. Your Iona email address becomes your login name.  Note: Don't select your Institution.
  4. A verification email will be sent.  *Note: the verification email arrives in the Junk folder in Outlook. 
  5. Click on the link in the verification email and add your name, role, and department affiliation.
  6. You will be asked if you’d like to install the Save to RefWorks web browser button. See Save to RefWorks button page.

Note:  Your RefWorks account is NOT connected with your Iona log-in credentials.
