Used in support of academic research and writing, online citation tools are helpful for collecting and manipulating metadata relating to books, journals, papers and websites into appropriately formated bibliographies and citation collections.

Citation Style Manuals in Print

Most commonly, information systems writers use the APA (American Psychological Association) style for creating bibliographies and citations, however MLA and Chicago are also sometimes used, as is Turabian.  To be certain you are using the correct style for your assignment, please check with the your professor.
